The Strategy Cafe is a Scottish based, collaborative consultancy bringing together a number of highly skilled and experienced consultants who can assist you with your strategy, strategic change and communications issues and needs.
We help individuals, groups and organisaitons to achieve their goals by offering support in the following areas.
100 Start-up Challenge
In January 2010 we set ourselves a little challenge, to help 100 nascent entrepreneurs to develop their Business Ideas.
The opportunity presented itself to work with a diverse client group on two projects, the first a business start-up programme using our now well tested 7 Step Start-up process, the other the creation of a Community Enterprise project.
To date we have worked with over 70 potential start-ups including around a dozen participants on a Community Enterprise project.

Close Client Alignment is an approach particularly suited to Business to Business partnering and to high value services and solutions sales situations.
The approach utilises the CaFE process prompts to help key staff in an organisation to better understand their intended partners key business issues and needs and to develop the value proposition to align as best as possible with those mutual interests and needs.

The CaFE process has been created to provide a structured "Issues Based" approach to support strategy development and strategy review that works effectively for experienced, inexperienced and would be business people.
The process privelidges individual skills and preferences and leads participants on a journey through the issues that their current business is facing or that intended business might face.
7 Step Startup
Seven Step Startup
Seven Step Startup is a new process building on our CaFE process that supports nacent entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas and more effectively progress towards setting up their new enterprises.
The process uses a mixture of prompts, light touch facilitation, constructive challenge and progressively works towards a full Business Plan, funding proposals and relevant prompts for any needed protection of intellectual property, legal contracts and and tax issues relevant to the new business model.

The Strategy Cafe team has considerable experience in Commercial Management, Strategy Process, Communicaitons and Executive Education, with past work involvements and clients spanning SMEs to PLCs in the Private, Public and Not For Profit sectors.
