Health and Safety at Work

The Strategy Cafe requires its employees and associates to perform their duties in a safe manner. They must ensure at all times that they do not put themselves, or others in danger, and recognise that their actions may well impact upon the safety and health of other employees and Associates.

Furthermore, all associates and employees of The Strategy Cafe are required to observe and fully comply with the Health and Safety Policies of clients of The Strategy Cafe, when acting on their behalf. This requirement applies whether the person is working on or off the client’s premises.

Finally, The Strategy Cafe requires any accident affecting any employee or Associate when engaged in work for the organisation, or its clients, to be fully recorded in the Accident Book, which is maintained at the company’s Registered Office.

All employees and associates are required to comply with the relevant legislation in effect within the country of operation.

The person responsible for Health and Safety is the lead consultant. Any relevant queries with respect to Health and Safety should be addressed to him at the Head Office. He will deal with all relevant matters and will seek competent advice where required.

Our statement of general policy is:

To provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities; To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety; To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment; To ensure safe handling and use of substances; To provide information, instruction and supervision for employees; To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training; To prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill-health; To maintain safe healthy working conditions; and To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.
